Open Capital is a finance company created in 2013
by the
principals of a prominent specialty finance
company and O.penVAPE, the leading brand in the
legal cannabis industry.
OCP’s original charter was to help further the interests of O.penVAPE by providing capital to its
franchisees and retailers. However, that vision quickly proved too narrow. By the middle of 2014,
the lack of capital constraining parts of the industry led OCP to offer its array of financing
products to all qualifying entities participating in the legal cannabis industry.
